Core Values

  1. We believe that the Bible/Scripture is the written Word of God. Scripture alone is our infallible, inerrant authority. Scripture alone rules over other authorities in the Christian life. Since we must be born of the Holy Spirit in order to see God’s kingdom (John 3:5), it is only through the Holy Spirit’s work that the Scriptures illume our hearts and minds so that we walk in the light with the God, who is light (2 Cor 4:4).

  2. We believe that it is only through Christ alone that the ungodly are justified in God’s sight. Jesus Christ, the Word became flesh, redeemed us from the penalty of sin that separated us from a holy God. Christ fulfilled the law we could not keep and bore the wrath of God that we deserve (Romans 3:23).

  3. We believe that God’s people receive the redemption of Christ by faith alone, not trusting in themselves or any other sources. God gives, through faith in Christ alone, the status of the righteousness of Christ, that is, having the forgiven state with the believers’ debt wiped clean when Jesus took the sins upon Himself, and being able to come freely into the presence of God because Jesus’ perfect record has been imputed to the believers (2 Cor 5:21).

  4. We believe that all of our salvation is by the grace of God alone. God alone calls us out of darkness into the light of his own Son (John 6:65) and raise us from spiritual death to spiritual life, that is a regenerate life (John 3). We are sinners saved by grace alone so no one can boast. The grace of God that brings salvation teaches us to say to ungodliness (Titus 2:11-15).

  5. We believe that God alone will receive all glory. God is the Beginning and the End; the Creator of all things; the author and finisher of our salvation. He alone is to be magnified for His sovereign grace.

  6. We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  7. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people as the seal of salvation. The Holy Spirit teaches us through Scripture that salvation is by grace alone because salvation is by faith in Christ alone. The Holy Spirit gives strength and comfort to trust and follow Christ until He returns in bodily form to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
